LEGAL INFORMATION
Complaints & Defective Goods
Contact the seller if a product is defective or does not match the agreement.
Document version: 2026-09-18Making a complaint
Email the seller with the product, purchase reference if available, and description of the defect. Photos can help but are not a general condition for a valid complaint. We will provide written confirmation and explain the next steps. Do not send payment-card details or private activation codes.
Legal remedies
Consumer goods are subject to statutory conformity rights, generally for defects appearing within two years of delivery. Depending on the legal conditions, remedies include repair or replacement and, where applicable, a price reduction or withdrawal. Necessary costs of a justified remedy are borne by the seller. Custom products retain these rights. A voluntary commercial warranty, if offered, does not replace them.
Dispute resolution
First contact the seller with a request for remedy. If it is rejected or remains unanswered for more than 30 days, an eligible consumer can apply to an authorised alternative dispute resolution body, including the Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI). See soi.sk for current eligibility and submission instructions. This does not limit access to a court.
